Another Happy Easter at Stream Walk

This year’s Easter event at the Community Garden was a great success.

The garden came alive with the sounds of laughter and excitement from the young people who took part in a range of activities like willow crafting, pond dipping, easter egg hunting, paper craft making, corn cockle planting and lots of free play for the younger children. We had a total of 350 visitors to the garden in just three hours.

The sun shined, the bbq sizzled and the kettles boiled, tempting people to teas and coffees with a great selection of delicious home-bakes, made by the wonderful Stream Walk volunteers.

The garden was in great shape to accommodate all of the wonderful visitors.

A huge thanks to our local Tesco community co-ordinator, Sam, who donated 100 sausages and rolls for the event, they quickly disappeared!

Overall it was a great day and so good to share this wonderful space with so many people.

Check the calendar for other upcoming events.
